End-of-year reflection questions for you
April 22, 2024
As this school year comes to a close, reflect on these questions:
- When did you show up at work in a way that felt most aligned to who you want to be in the world?
- Recall a difficult event, experience, or period this year. Which of your core values did you enact during that time? Which ones felt harder to live into?
- Which animal, bird, creature, or natural element most represented who you were this year? How does it feel to identify with that symbol?
- Which animal, bird, creature, or natural element would you most like to embody next year? What would it look like for you to do that?
These reflection questions invite you to consider your ways of being—and they’re ones you can offer coaching clients as well. At the core of Transformational Coaching is the concept of the Three Bs: Behaviors, beliefs, and ways of being. We know that it is only by coaching in these three domains that we create sustained, transformative change in schools; our behaviors emerge from our beliefs and our ways of being.
